April’s event – 9 hole game
12 April, 2016 @ 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
A slightly earlier start – teeing off from 2.30pm with a shotgun start to tackle the nine hole course.
Teams will comprise groups of three people and members are invited to bring along a more experienced golfer (male or female, friend or business colleague) to join to make up the group and ensure rules are followed and score card completed properly!
This session will provide a flavour of a corporate golf day and prizes are on offer for the winning teams and for longest drive and closest to the pin etc etc.
A light supper will be served before prize giving.
We expect the event to finish by approximately 6pm -6.30pm.
Please make sure your ‘golfer’ (lead player) knows how to mark a stableford points score.
Every Drive! lady who doesn’t have an official handicap will be given a 36 handicap – two shots per hole.
Any golfer who has taken more than six shots to get to the 150 yard market (the blue posts on the side of the fairway) must pick up their ball and resume play on the next hole. This is essential for ensuring the game is completed within the acceptable time limit.
Best two scores will count assuming two players achieve required score to gain points. If not, one score from the team will count.
Please remember there will be other paying members playing golf so respect their game and observe the etiquette at all times.
Peter, Nicole, Anna and Amanda hope you thoroughly enjoy your day. Take advantage of your lead player and pick up as much knowledge as possible on rules and good practice.
Any questions you have please let us know.
